• Importance of fast detection faults in a DC microgrid to increase the lifetime power electronics switches and enhance controllability over converters. Identifying analyzing travelling waves fault currents as promising solution for creating tripping protection scheme. Utilizing multiresolution analysis (MRA) with discrete wavelet transform demonstrating quantitative relationship between location waves. Employing Support Vector Machine classifying types Gaussian Process regression estimate on cables. Fast isolation is particular importance. (i) increases (PE) by avoiding high current magnitudes (ii) enhances PE This paper proposes traveling wave (TW) based scheme microgrids. The proposed utilizes (DWT) calculate high-frequency components currents. Multiresolution using DWT utilized detect TW different frequency ranges.
